Postal Service.

Writing project 1.
Simple songs, melodies and harmonies written from correspondence between fellow writer and myself. 7-10 musical phrases/songs telling the story of our brief interactions and the inspiration stirred in me through them.

---
god wants you to write songs
ok bye.

well, here are the thoughts i had in the process of waking up.
they might sound whatever, but whatever. i decided to tell you.

There. If we were at a coffeeshop, we could take a couple of hours to unfold each sentence and see if there's anything to be had from it. As it is, we facebook and lay the sentences out on white screen, cheapened by profile pictures and advertisements. I pray that God will break through our incapacities and lead us to higher ground.

One day we might be able to make sense of everything. (everything italicized)

I want one full album about coming back to writing.

Everyday is important.

Today I'll call my sister, drive through snow, share a meal with friends, work for a job I believe in, and be open to making conversation with people I don't know.

Yesterday I played guitar and sang with Bella, danced to gotye and kimbra, flirted just a tiny little bit, gave an I like you artist a huge paycheck along with an even bigger hug, said goodbye to a friend when I wasn't ready to, and drank a grinning amount of summit winter beer.

I also started something new with musical friend Danny Churchill.
